“Bedrijvenpark Botlek” (Chemicalpark Botlek) is the site in the Rotterdam Botlek area bordering on Botlekweg, Welplaatweg, and Chemiehaven. The site houses plants of Akzo Nobel, Shin-Etsu, Nufarm, and Air Products. These plants maintain close contacts, especially so as they are physically connected. The plants have in common that they all use or process chlorine.
